The hike is definitely longer than 3:19 hours. You should plan in 4-5 hours. Progress is slow, especially on the Gottesacker plateau. Here it is also important to be very careful and to pay attention to every step

Great gorge that is always worth crossing

Really very nice hike with hardly any incline but still a great view. The Kuhgerenalpe is awesome and also has great food and drinks. However, the hike takes longer than 3 hours. You should plan in 4-5 hours if you don't run

After getting off the Walmendingerhornbahn, you walk a short distance downhill (unless you go briefly to the summit). An inconspicuous junction (after approx. 1.5 km) to the right then leads to the ridge path. This is alpine, but still very accessible and worthwhile in dry conditions.

Wonderful day hike with a challenging summit. But expect a lot of traffic on the weekend.
