lined with numerous information boards, each presenting a “tree of the year” from the past decades. After a few minutes' walk you can reach this vantage point, which offers a wide view of the Ruhr valley towards the east - all the way to the Werden district. The former towpath, which is now used as a cycle path, runs along the left bank. At the bottom of the river, tennis courts can be seen in the foreground, the green areas on the other bank belong to the Haus Oefte golf club. The restaurant is on the opposite side
