Very sweet place with old Friesenhäusern and still a very nice preserved old town center. It is worth to stroll through the streets

Very nice with the small shops and the fish is excellent afterwards a coffee in the Frisian coffee

The most beautiful village on Amrum is undoubtedly the place fog.

The Friesendorf
If you dream of flower-covered Frisian houses and think of Amrum not only about the endless beach, but also about quaint living rooms, church bells, cobblestones and seafaring legends, you will feel comfortable in fog. The oldest village on the island unfolds its charm with thatched roof houses, enchanted alleys and striking historical buildings.

Nebel is located between Wittdün in the south of Amrum and Norddorf at the northern tip. The community of around 1000 inhabitants can be reached from Wittdün after about five kilometers, either via the forest or the coastal path. Bicycles are the typical form of transportation here, so that only a few cars can be seen in town.
The center of Fog consists almost exclusively of typical Frisian houses, some of which are up to 300 years old. Particularly in spring and summer, these offer a picturesque sight with their flower-covered facades. Numerous restaurants and cafés invite you to linger here.
