The house Goldschmieding is a former noble residence. Its origins lie in a manor from the 13th century.
In the last quarter of the 16th century, the former house in the style of the Lippe Renaissance was completely redesigned by its owners and presents itself today - in a reduced form - as a simple plaster building, which is used as a restaurant.
From the interior, the ballroom with a beamed ceiling has been preserved, which has a special Renaissance chimney made of Baumberger sandstone as a special showpiece.
