Highlight – Cicloturismo
The Col de Turini is probably the most famous pass in the southern Maritime Alps. The best known of these is its western ramp, which has its starting point about 2 km north of Lantosque on the D2265 in the Vesubie Valley, and the southeast ramp, which begins east of the Col de Braus on the D2204 in Sospel. Furthermore, there are still the southern ramp from L'Escarène, also on the D2204 west of the Col de Braus, as well as an outgoing from Col St. Roch driveway. The latter joins after 5 km at about 1375 m altitude in the south ramp.
In addition to Col St. Roch and Col de Braus, the Col de Turini offers many opportunities to continue. To the north, via the Col St. Martin, there is a connection to the Valley of the Tinée and the Col de la Bonette, Lombardy, Couillole or Moutière. To the south, starting from Sospel, the Col de Castilloneine offers direct access to the Côte de Azur. Furthermore, the Col de Turini is the starting point of a 4 km long climb to a war memorial at 1889 m
