    Must ride!
I strongly recommend climbing from Pfossental, the trail is almost completely uphill after the renovation, as it is quite flat.
I would not do 2-3 hours of wearing Pfelders to myself. The trail into Pfossental is more like S1-S2 than S2-S3.

Extremely fit drivers can circumnavigate the Texel Group over the Eisjöchl as a day tour. To do this, however, you should trust yourself about 3000 meters of ascent over 90 km.

The Eisjöchl is one of the highest and at the same time most beautiful transitions in the Eastern Alps, which can be mastered by mountain bike. However, condition, surefootedness and alpine experience should be present. Finally, the pass is at 2895 meters. The best direction is from Pfelders to Pfossental. Although you have to carry the bike uphill for several hours and push it, but the downhill to Pfossental is one of the most beautiful singletrack in the Alps (S2-S3).

Before the tour you should be informed exactly about the conditions at the top of the yoke, as there may be old or new snow in summer. Just below the crossing, coming from Pfelders, is the Szczecin hut. There you can strengthen yourself for the last meters and the upcoming descent.

I also strongly recommend starting the tour from Pfossental. Almost everything can be ridden for fit bikers. Car in Meran, Schnalstal, Pfossental, via the Stettinerhütte to Moos im Passeier and back to Meran ... 90 km and approx. 2600 m.

For mountain bikers: Ascent from the Lazinser Alm is only possible to push or carry (70:30) and takes at least 2 1/2 hours (about 900 hm). Departure in the direction of Pfossental but worth it.

Worthwhile climb. At least 3 hours ascent from Pfelders. Fantastic distant view. In June 18 and July 19 there was still plenty of snow here. Since it is alpine terrain, there could be snow all year round. Absolute surefootedness required.
