Especially in late summer and autumn, when the leaves of the trees and vines gradually change colour, these hikes are an absolute dream. In the Pfalz you can taste delicious wines or hike through dense woods along streams with an abundance of plants and wildlife. The multi-facetted landscape with its numerous castles along the famous Bergstraße also has its charms. Pure nature is the motto of the "3-day tour through the picturesque Pfaelzer Wald". The route from Kaiserslautern to Waldfischbach is characterised by clear streams, rocky gorges and dense forests.
