Kapellenwege und Taferl

Our circular route "Wendelinweg" began from the PP Waidhofen at the church of Mariäreinigung and St. Wendelin.

During the night everything was sugar-coated in white and so we happily followed the path.

The way is very well signposted.

PP Thäleinschlag, from here our meditative hiking trail to the "snail shell of God" begins. The hiking trail no. 6 is a very special quiet path. Full of anticipation, we arrive in the beautiful village of Suffersheim. Here it is advisable to follow path no.12 and then you will find path no.6 again.

Pappenheim, la porta dell'Altmühltal.

Partiamo dal centro storico e saliamo la 'Adam & Eva Weg'. Quindi unire un po' per salire sul sentiero n° 12 fino alla cappella di Gunthildis.

La cappella Gunthildis sorge accanto a una quercia. Fornisce ombra e ci godiamo il nostro spuntino su una panchina.

A very relaxed hiking trail through the file forest ...... the motto of some of the pecking animals today, however, was: "Ready for the mosquitoes ....... go !!!!!"

Our PP is near the Roman Museum, we take the path to the Evangelical Peace Church.

A listed church. Built according to the plans of the architect Olaf Andreas Gulbransson.

Our PP is today directly at the cath. St. Quirin's Church. We go up Kalvarienstrasse to the cemetery. Here we turn right and in front of us there is a wonderful way of the cross that leads to the Calvary.



The pilgrimage church awaits us at the top, small and beautiful.

PP was at the Heideweiher.

An absolutely unplanned tour. Breathe mist air - what a special atmosphere. Do I see a chapel in the fog?

Maybe it's a corridor ... the closer I get to the chapel, the more I see its size.



Once there, I meet a gentleman who takes care of the chapel and tells me its story.

Today we were drawn to beautiful Holledau. The St. Kastulus circular route was created by the Reichertshofen market.
