Oggi dovrebbe andare allo Justadtinden con un tempo fantastico. Per prima cosa percorri quasi 1 km sulla grande pista da sci di fondo, prima di seguire il tuo naso attraverso il paese delle meraviglie invernale non tracciato fino al bivio per Steindalstinden. After no rain was announced again today, it should go away from the accommodation to the Munkan. You can see the entrance through the window, but then it's almost 4 km around the bay 🙈 after warming up, it starts steeply. A first beautiful vantage point is reached after a good 100 m. And it does exist... The sun 🌞☀️ after it rained for breakfast, the only thing on the program today was actually the small circular hike to Kvalvika Beach. But the weather kept getting better and the wind dropped... And so we added the Ryten and the Mittagstinden. The view of the surrounding white rock… leggi altro

So much for nice weather in Lofoten... Because the day before yesterday was so nice, we wanted to go to Varden again. But when the wind almost blows you away with skins, it's no fun. There would have been 20 cm of the finest, fresh cardboard snow and that was also untracked, just wasn't supposed to be 🤷‍♂️

Ski tour with a sea view and firn conditions, but with lightly pressed fresh snow on a slope-like old snow cover. Just awesome, that's all we'll say 😍

Oh yeah, you have to go ski touring in Lofoten to meet people from the county 😂

Hey Norway! After moving from Reine to Svolvaer yesterday, the weather was reasonably usable for the first time today. Snow (instead of the constant rain in Reine 🙈) and sun alternated every 15 minutes and the wind was also bearable and so we went up the Tjeldbergtinden directly from the hotel 🤗 first… leggi altro

Today we sunk in wet snow and turned around, hence... See title 🙈😂

After the weather is supposed to be stormy and wet 🙄 for the next few days, we tried to climb the Reinebringen. Thanks to the snow conditions (we didn't see ANY of the 1600 steps 🤣) and the storm, we turned around before the steep final section. Pressed snow and an ice bulge over the path, it's better to turn around 🤷‍♂️
