Despite the bad weather under the sofa! From the source of the Rhume we hiked steadily uphill to the Rotenberg after a short stretch on the bike path. Unexpectedly beautiful circular route through the Rotenberg, past the barbecue area, several idyllic ponds, beautiful views of Rhumspringe and Harz. The Forest Education Center is ideal as a picnic break. Everything is easy to walk on wide hiking trails.

All roads are easy to walk. The way to the ponds was pretty muddled by the logs and difficult to find.

Today we hiked the last section of the Rotenberg. We saw many different ponds and rivers: Rhume spring, fish ponds near the Rhume spring, the Beber and the village pond in Pöhlde, Kiesseen and the Oder in their river bed between Pöhlde and Hattorf. A successful tour.

Dopo alcune ore di guida in autostrada e tre giorni di festa, ci siamo fermati appena fuori dalla porta d'ingresso. È andato dal Rhumequelle all'Harzblick e ritorno.

Bel tour, soprattutto adesso in autunno!

Il nostro tour oggi ci ha portato da Zwinge a Rotenberg.

Dall'ex stazione ferroviaria abbiamo superato la Friedenseiche fino alla pista ciclabile in direzione Hilkerode. Sulla strada per Wolfstal ci siamo trovati all'improvviso davanti a un pascolo recintato con mucche. Dopo una deviazione attraverso… leggi altro

Oggi siamo andati al Rhumequelle e all'Harzblick sul Bohlweg con il sole estivo.

Lungo la strada innumerevoli uccelli ci hanno regalato un concerto primaverile molto melodioso, proprio come meritavamo.

Un cervo solitario ha attraversato il nostro cammino e una biscia è fuggita da noi.
