Oberallgäu und Kleinwalsertal

After we could "enjoy" the water 💦 🌂 from above yesterday, we wanted to look at the water below us today.

The Breitachklamm was a worthwhile destination for us. Thundering masses of water, small waterfalls, soaked rocks and lush, green vegetation inspired us.

From the starting point in Oberstdorf, the path in the Trettachtal led us through the hamlets of Gruben and Dietersbach towards Spielmannsau. View from the window: only fog in the valley. There was only one thing left for us, high up in the mountains. We took the Fellhornbahn to the middle station at 1770 m. In imperial weather we decided to tackle the Nebelhorn today. First we headed for our first hiking section towards the Seealpe middle station. The way led us directly into thealtenbachtobel. The water masses tumbling over cascades made the path a special experience.

After yesterday we had a view of the Hohen Ifen and the Gottesacker from the Nebelhorn, today we started the hike over the Gottesacker. We started in Wäldele. After yesterday's altitude, we wanted to take advantage of the good weather and climb again. From Oberstdorf we first hiked along the Trettach before turning into the Oytal. After the last two exhausting days, a leisurely hike followed today. The entrance was the mountain station of the Söllereckbahn. The starting point was the Renksteg car park. Past the golf course we soon reached Dietersberg. After a bit along the Trettach we were at the junction in the Hölltobel. Looking out the window: the mountains are gone!

Fog and clouds hang low. So a tour in medium locations was the order of the day.

From Berghofen we hiked to the entrance of the Starzlachklamm. Right at the beginning we were greeted by a rushing waterfall. A little further on, we were able to watch the participants… leggi altro

Oberstdorf in the rain!

Immenstadt's webcam showed better weather. That's why we headed for the large Alpsee near Bühl.

The hike began at the pilgrimage church of Maria Loreto and a burial chapel.

Today it should go a little higher in the mountains again. The alpine path to the Rubihorn may have appealed to us, but it was too daring for us.

Off we went to Kleinwalsertal with a blue sky. At the mountain station of the Heuberg chairlift, we took the north-facing route on the Heuberg. At the end of our hiking holiday, we went back to the Kleinwalsertal. It should be a very relaxed day.
